Went to see fantasia with my dad last Sunday. I've been to the Harry Potter symphony before and loved it. The orchestra playing the music live is amazing, while you watch such an iconic movie.
Fantasia was done a little different. The conductor actually talked to us about the different pieces of music and gave us background on the movie. Then played pieces of fantasia. I really enjoyed this because it gave me some background knowledge of the movie. The symphony again was lovely. Houston is blessed with a wonderful orchestra. There is nothing like live music. And if you have ever wanted to go, it makes a great gift or shared experience with a loved one. Put down the materialistic gifts this holiday and give the gift of an experience, live music shared together.
Ballets Jazz Montreal, Dance Me, the Music of Leonard Cohen was incredible!
Jones Hall has really nice performances, always look for what they have and you always find something great for you, and enjoy an exceptional night!
10 of the 10.
I recently attended a performance at Jones Hall, and it was an incredible experience! The hall itself is beautiful, with elegant architecture and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The acoustics were absolutely fantastic, making the live symphony performance of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back truly immersive. Every note from the orchestra was crisp and powerful, bringing the film’s iconic score to life in a breathtaking way.
The seating was comfortable with great views from every angle, and the staff was friendly and well-organized, ensuring a smooth experience from arrival to departure. Whether you're attending a classical concert, a film with live music, or any other performance, Jones Hall is a top-tier venue that enhances the magic of live entertainment.
Highly recommend for any music or performing arts lovers!
